Piece from the Pathways & Precipices ~ An Artist’s Return to Awe and Wonder Series inspired by experiences and transformations from Bandelier National Monument Artist Residency for month of November 2022.

This piece started out as a simple representation of the raven I photographed on a rock near my casita. The painting begged for something else, so this piece transformed into an integration of wildlife, the sun petroglyph I was thrilled to discover late in my visit, and the late afternoon glow of the north wall of Frijoles Canyon.
