11/20/22 ~ For this paint out I set up beside a bench wayside, just before reaching the giant kiva and Tyuonyi ruins. The morning light was dramatically highlighting a crevasse and rock formations in the north canyon wall. This was a particularly fun location as a retired park volunteer highlighted petroglyphs high near the north canyon wall rim of a sun symbol and creature I had yet to see! I was able to point it out to several visitors that day which was great fun.
