This overlook is located on Entry Road on the way into Bandelier National Monument. On my first visit to this overlook I couldn’t walk to the edge. On the last day saying goodbye I was standing on the wall! I loved to stop here and find those places I had been in the canyon. From this vantage point I could see the Falls Trail, the Pueblo Loop, the Tyuonyi Ruins, the Frey trail, the Tyuonyi Overlook, and my favorite outcropping! This view is looking up canyon towards Los Alamos and the Jemez mountains. I love this all-encompassing view and was excited by the moody sky in the distance highlighting the glow of the intense light undulating through Frijoles Canyon.
