Bee Study II

5″ x 7″ Acrylic Layers & Transfer

I love experimentation and this study of a honey bee in flight with pollen sacs full is constructed on top of a photo transfer of an image from my bee hive.  If you look carefully you will see the grey bees and honeycomb of the transferred photograph peeking through the layers of paint, gel, and charcoal.
