This sculpture is inspired by my event mare “Roland’s Judy” who was descendant from Man of War. I enjoy capturing candid moments vs. posed ones and I often watched Judy scratch her itchy face in just this way.
As part of the “Heart of the Horse” Exhibit, 1 August through 30 September, 2025, this piece is available for purchase through Longbranch Historic House & Farm and is not currently available for direct purchase via this website.
