Ode to Odysseus I

Odysseus is a young Great Horned Owl who was injured and rescued by the Virginia Wildlife Center.  Since his injuries will not allow him to fly silently, he is now an “Ambassador” in training.  In this Acrylic Layers painting I hope to capture his intensity and mystery.
