Watercolors

Watercolor is a very versatile medium.  I learned to use it in the traditional transparent manner, preserving the white of the paper, avoiding opacity, seeking that luminous glow.  I love the spontenaity of watercolor, wet in wet, happy accidents and learning to manipulate them.  I also love the detail which can be achieved using dry brush and resist techniques.  I now use watercolor in a broader variety of ways to achieve the effects I desire to best convey my intent.
